Grey Reef/Miracle Mile River Report Latest Update: 12/20/2023 Current Streamflow : 498 cfs @ Grey Reef, 538 cfs @ Miracle Mile The flows on both the Miracle Mile and Grey Reef have reached their winter flows, and most likely won't fluctuate until the spring. Both sections of river will remain around 500-600 cfs through the colder months.

Miracle Mile Fly Fishing - "The Mile" as it's known to locals is actually a seven mile long tail water section of the North Platte (depending on pathfinder Reservoir lake levels) with consistent, cold water from Seminoe Reservoir above creating ideal big trout habitat.

Rainbows, browns and Snake River Cutthroat along with suckers, carp and walleye call the Miracle Mile home. The Mile trout population is roughly 50:50 rainbows and brown trout. Good numbers of resident trout are in the river year-round, but there are also large numbers of both migratory rainbows and browns from Pathfinder Reservoir.
